My whole life has been about creating art.  I believe art helps you connect emotionally to the world around you.  I truly believe that filling your home with art that you connect with creates a much more inspiring surrounding.  Art is personal both to the artist and to the owner!

I started doing art at a young age, taking classes from a well-known watercolor artist, and those classes really helped shape me as an artist.  I gained a great understanding of composition, photorealism painting, and a belief in myself as an artist.  Throughout my career I have faced many obstacles and challenges, but my dedication to my art has always gotten me through.

In my mid-twenties I underwent a prophylactic double mastectomy.  The experience changed me (not just physically!) and I found myself getting more involved in the breast cancer community through volunteering and mentoring.  But I did shying away from my art.  As any true artist, I found my way back and I'm definitely here to stay.

My art focuses on process.  I love experimenting with new tools, new strategies, and learning new ways to manipulate paint!  My style is constantly changing as I constantly change.  Finding ways to express this is really the joy of it all!

I recently have moved and settled in New Jersey where I live with my significant other and loveable rescue dog.  I spend my time creating new exciting work to share with all of you (with the occasional gardening break)!
